Usually means your credit card was denied.
Might want to call your bank.

but it doesn't give me the option of reauthorising my credit card in the order page. of that was the case it would have appeared.

i checked with my bank and they said all good.

A glitch in the system maybe? Still says delivers on 9/19 so you better damn hold them to that.

Also happened to me... Just called my CC support and the card was already charged this saturday, and payment was approved... even got the "authorization code" of the transaction as proof... hope everything is right, let's wait...

I just called apple regarding this (happened to me) and the guy basically said that he's never heard of that happening however everything's been crazy so to just bear with them and he assures me that the phone will get here on Friday. He said something about the Pilots and their shipments all registering simultaneously, really made no sense to my situation but whatever.

I'm pretty annoyed still, but we'll see what happens. Have to remain positive. :apple:

Apple will ensure you will get your iPhone on Friday - even if Tim Cook has to personally deliver it to your door. If your pre-order says you'll get it on the 19th, you will get it on the 19th.

Are you in a remote island or where? Use skype it is a free call to Apple and if you speak spanish there is also an option too.

To call using skype you only need a good wifi connection or a good 3G or 4G connection. Easier can't be don't you think so.

I bet that tomorrow everybody will see a shipping number

Mine has also changed back to "Preparing for Shipment"

I was at work by that time, that's why I wasn't able to call them.

If you guys are trying to track by reference put in the phone number under your billing address on your apple account for some people it may not be there cell phone number. I just did this for me and my brother his phone is shipping from China and minds from Harrisburg PA
