Hello,
a friend of mine gave me a mac pro server (mod. APMD772T/A).
Now, to avoid wasting money buying a monitor, may I convert it into a desktop ?
I mean: could it work as a Mac Pro client (i.e.APMD770T/A) with a desktop os ?

Thank you

Are you asking if it can run non-server Mac OSX ? If so, then yes of course it can.

If you don't have a monitor (as in a CRT or LCD to plug into it) I don't see how you will get around that. At the very least you'll need a monitor to install or setup the OS, at which point you can VNC into it or use SSH to administer it. But you may still need a monitor at some point if something goes wrong.
