iPhone 7/Plus Front camera flip

i understand the reason they made the front camera to flip photos (aka "mirroring"), but is there any legal option to make the iPhone not doing so?

if the answer is- App- which one would you recommend? (something that not affect the quality of the photos or has most options like the original camera app).

Wouldn’t have a clue to be honest as I can’t stand the selfie camera in messenger for that very reason so wouldn’t have a reason to go looking for an app that could do the same.
Can’t see why anyone would want the photo to not flip, there’s nothing more annoying than seeing others photos that are backwards.
I guess you must have your reasons though.

well, it's quite simple. i want to take some of my photos of me with signs. it's flipping, and you can't read the sign. I don't want to edit photo every time. i just want to take photo. it should be so simple, and it's pity there is no option to do it on camera settings (like almost every android phone has).

checking it now with my GF's iPhone, it appears you're right! so now it's weird, because mine shows the opposite!
is there any way to change it?? is it defect of the cam?

You could try a hard reboot of your phone to see if that fixes it.

And you’re ALL using the same camera (the front facing selfie camera), correct?

Yeah I took mine of my T-Shirt, Selfie camera correct way round using the standard camera app, the backwards one was taken using Selfie camera in Messenger.
This is what was totally confusing me with the OP as the way I read it was he wanted it backwards as didn’t want it flipped which didn’t make sense Lol.
