Front Camera on X is hmmm

So why is the front camera on the X worse than my old 7 front camera

When viewing on the phone there ok but when viewing on photos on my iMac there really grainy

The front camera is not supposed to be inferior to the 7. However I have always felt the front camera to be ho-hum in the first place. It's a selfie camera - live FaceTime thing. It's not meant to be your keep sakes.

With that said, who knows about your particular phone. Maybe the front camera is defective? Good enough to pass the diagnostic test, but not up to spec.

Play around with the scenes on Clips to see something the 7 FF can’t do.

This isn't comparing the 7 or even 8 to the X. But I see what you mean in relation to the GN8. Still not convinced.

Hmmmm interesting. I will have to pull my pictures up on my mac later. The photos are amazing when viewing on the phone

Mine looks fine. You must have a defective unit.
