Front Panel Part Code

Hi,

My work is currently trying to find a replacement front panel, glass only, for a 2nd and 3rd gen iPad both 3G models. I know countless places where I can get the screen but due to our procedures we can only used approved suppliers. What I need it the part code/id for the glass panel so that I can pass this onto the suppliers so they can search for me.

Does anyone happen to know?

I'm not completely sure, but I don't think they have official parts numbers. Apple doesn't sell parts outside of their supply chain, although maybe if you found a Mac Reseller and called them you could get a part number. Most of the websites I know about use their own parts numbers or just sell by the description. I think if you need the parts number, calling a mac authorized dealer is the way to go.
