I play a lot of tv shows in front row. When they play there are bars on the left and right side. Is there a way to make the videos fill the screen in front row (leopard)? I can do it with quicktime by changing the settings, but I haven't found a way to do it in front row. I am not worried about the aspect ratio changing, but I dont want to zoom. I just want the whole screen to be filled without cutting anything off. Thanks.

your macbook is a widescreen, and the movies your are play probably aren't widescreen, you can try changing you resolution to see if that will fix it.

The movies aren't widesccreen, they are 4:3. But in QuickTime there is a setting to make full screen videos fill the screen. I was hoping this setting existed somewhere in front row.

I'm having the same issue. I wanted to start using Front Row for watching video podcasts, but it would be great if it would allow me to slightly zoom to remove the black bars, like double tapping on the iPhone.

:(

I have a few iTunes purchased shows that fill the screen left to right but there are bars on the top and bottom. These are widescreen shows. I also have a few that have the bars on the sides as you mentioned. It just depends on how the show was originally produced. You will either have bars at the top and bottom or the sides.
