I tried this a while back but I reckon FR couldn't read the new iTunes library already at times of iTunes 10.
Which left me basically just with trailers and iPhoto (whose lib might also have changed btw). Has this been resolved by now?
How would that go if they've ditched the IR remote from Macs?

iPhones of course!

We have the Remote app.

I'm running Front Row on Mavericks!

I got this from apple discussion forum thanks to someone MacTechProX (thread 5544429 over there).

I copied these files from my old Mac that still had front row over to my new Mavericks Mac:

/System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row.app
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/BackRow.framework
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/iPhotoAccess.framework

Open Apple Script Editor and type in:

tell application "/System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row.app"
launch
end tell
tell application "System Events"
key code 53
end tell

Then you just save the script as application. You can even copy paste the icon into it if you want.
I have to manually force quit it after I exit for some reason to re-launch. But it works nonetheless.

Solution for iTunes 11.4 library not showing up

I have no problems with using my iTunes library with the Front Row enabler. I just made an alias of the things I wanted to include in the library and copied it into the Movies folder in my user folder. You have to go under Movies in front Row to get to them, but other than that it worked perfectly. And all my purchased stuff is there. I labeled it iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows etc. And for anyone who can't find it this link is active.http://www.mac-hatter.com/blog/frontrowenablerforlion
