Front Row scanning

Hello there,

Are there any keyboard shortcuts for "Scan Forward" and "Scan Backward" in Front Row similar to DVD Player?

I don't have a remote as my Mac is not new enough to have one. I don't want to move between chapters/tracks which I rather to move between specific points if anyone knows what I mean.

Try holding down the left or right cursor keys for 2-3 seconds (longer = faster)

If you want to get an actual remote, the Keyspan media remote is the closest thing to the Apple remote you can get. It's better in some respects because you have a couple of extra buttons + you can use it with other apps.

Hi,

I use my bluetooth phone to remote control Front Row. Works better than the Apple Remote, because I don't need to point it at the Mac.

Works also great for Keynote presentations. Everybody is always really impressed when I do a preso, using Keynote and my bluetooth phone 🙂
