Hey everyone, I'm running Leopard, and ever since 10.5.1 (maybe caused by it, maybe not) I've been noticing that Front Row, whenever I play a movie file; for example, a podcast, every 10 seconds or so, the screen goes blank and the light on the open button on my MBP goes on for a sec, as if its trying to go into sleep mode. Does anybody know why this is happening, if it is a common issue as of late, and how to fix it?

Thanks

Yes Front Row even with 5.1 has some problem

Hmm, thats a shame. Front Row was working perfectly fine with 10.5, I had no problems with it. No flickering, no freezing or anything. Now that I installed 10.5.1 its just gone to hell....

I hope it gets fixed soon, I use Front Row quite a bit.

If you are a heavy frontrow user you might want to take a look at remote buddy. it's a software that basically is destined to be used by heavy frontrow users. it is more versatile than frontrow and you can truly control your complete mac with this software should you decide to do that.
