OK, this has been getting at me for a while now...

Firstly I think that FrontRow has the potential to be a fantastic system, the only main component missing is an EyeTV integration but that will not happen for a while.

Anyway, the main problem is how TV shows are handled. How hard can it be to get it right. For example, on my computer at home I have all 9 series of the X-Files ripped into iTunes. Under iTunes 7.5 everything was ordered nicely but now (iTunes 7.6) each show is split into series blocks so I get 9 separate blocks of The X-Files, not a very efficient use of space. Now in FrontRow it is the same. I go into TV shows and I get a long list of X-Files series. If I want to get to series 8 I have to count each time I press the down button as I have no indication as to what is going on. Then add in a few more shows and your nice neat interface is now a big mass of show names and very hard to navigate around.

Why can't the go back to the old FrontRow style interface of Tiger where you had something like this:

Show -> Series -> Episode

So much easier, and simpler than what we have now.

I am glad Apple made a change in the latest upgrade but they have made things worse, its almost a Microsoft style move. I want to get an AppleTV but this is really putting me off.

Come on Apple sort it out, please.
