This might be old-hat for many of you; but I thought I'd share. Are you aware you can network your Imac via the airport to other devices with wireless cards without using a router? My wife shares my iMac dialup service with her Dell laptop; this would work even better if we had broadband. I share her printer. We transfer files at will. The catch is I have to be on and so does she; but that's not usually a problem. It only takes a minute to turn on the airport and set up sharing of internet in preferences. She connects just like she would to any wireless network. I'm not saying this is a substitute for a router, but it is almost as good for no extra money.

I got a kick out of the "misspelling" in the title...Froogle? Funny how Google is now changing our vocabulary. Of course, I am sure you meant frugal :)

yep, pretty funny. And to anyone who cares - the number taht google.com named themselves after is actually spelled googol.
Wikipedia article on google said:
The name "Google" is a play on the word "Googol", which was coined by Milton Sirotta, nine-year-old nephew of U.S. mathematician Edward Kasner in 1938, to refer to the number represented by 1 followed by one hundred zeros. Google's use of the term reflects the company's mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the Web. As a further play on this, Google's headquarters are referred to as "the Googleplex" — a googolplex being 1 followed by a googol of zeros, and the HQ being a complex of buildings (cf. multiplex, cineplex, etc).
