Hi Folks,
Is anyone playing Frostpunk 2?
I liked the idea behind the first game, but never really got into it and I am wondering if Frostpunk 2 is something I could warm too.
The main game in the first one was not so much a city builder in an open sense as it was a "do this or else" builder.
All main events happened at preordained times and did not take into account your preceding actions.
Like, in first game, I played along and a "random" person appeared with grim news and decimated the happiness.
ON the second game, I then took extra care to get as much happines as I could. Well when the "random" person appeared, all my happiness was decimated to the preset value. No matter how high it was before.
That kind of linear game does not need a computer, it can be a pen and paper board game.
So, how is the second one, are we actually allowed to work in our own bubble with events being random and non-linear.
