Frotz anyone?

Has anyone else downloaded and played Frotz? The interactive fiction story game? It is completely frustrating. I just wanted to know if anyone had it and is able to beat any of the stories?

I've downloaded and played with it some. I grew up in the old text adventure. The only 1 I really tried was 9:05 and it took me 2 tries to get it right.

Yeah I beat that one. I'm doing "The Art of the Misdirection" and I can't figure out what to do. I've taken off my hat, talked to the crowd. And I'm stuck...

I haven't played any of the free ones they supply but have loaded some of my old classics into Frotz (Zork, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, etc). Sometimes I really miss those good old days of gaming, but the puzzles can be frustrating especially if you didn't grow up on the stuff 😀
