Well my 2011 macbookpro finally has a problem. I cannot get it to boot. Tried: cmd s (fsck -fy) says hd is ok, cmd r gets blue screen, opt cmd p r gets blue, Internet reboot gets blue, recovery gets blue both hd and recovery, tried mount -uw nothing works. How bad off am I?

It could be a dGPU failure (if you have a 15" or 17"). Apple has a repair program until the end of Dec 2016.

You didn't tell us if your MacBook is a 15" or 17", but if it's either, get it to a brick-n-mortar Apple Store RIGHT AWAY.

The free replacement program runs out at the end of this year.
