Contrary to my name, I really don't like apples all that much. They're too acidic and if they're not peeled, the apple skin sticks to my throat and causes me to gag.

But I love papaya (and mangoes). Anything fleshy is always great. I love how it feels in my mouth. Can't eat too much though, or I gain weight.

Strawberries.
Grapes.
Nectarines.
Mangoes.
Clementines.

I like most fruits but I am not a fan of grapefruit. the stuff makes my whole face twitch with pucker. It's not a good look.

Saying you dislike Apples is quite a sweeping generalisation. Lots of apples can be quite sour, with a horrible skin (Granny Smith), but some are quite the opposite. Have you ever tried Pink Lady or Jazz apples? Those are fantastic, sweet and the skin isn't quite as sharp.

Otherwise, I love mangoes, blackberries, bananas, lemons, melons, lychees and grapes.

I like most fruits that you get in most Norwegian stores (unfortunately traditionally that doesn't include too many, though in recent years it has improved).

The only thing I used to really detest was pineapple, but lately I can even bare that (which eventually may leave just coconuts, which may not technically be a fruit but are still sold in the fruit section, on the fruit and vegetable part of my no-way-in-****-I'll-eat-that-list).

I can't stand pineapples... just the thought of being forced to eat one gives me the shivers. Same with papayas and mangoes. I guess I'm not too fond of tropical tasting fruits.

I absolutely love oranges though. Strawberries are great also.

i'm with you on this one...tropical fruits just make my eyes water. i really don't care for them.

i love bananas, grapes, strawberries, and granny smith & gala apples the best. i try to keep a well-stocked kitchen, and all of these (except strawberries, which we're growing this summer) are always in my house!

yum....fruit. :)

granny smith apples happen to be my favorite apples. they have the right texture, and i love the sourness. my most hated apple, on the other hand, is the washington red. i can't stand the mushiness. but what i really love and live for are watermelons, peaches and tangerines. i was hospitalized a year ago and couldn't eat for quite some time. when i was finally able to eat again, all i craved were watermelons and tangerines.

Yes... apples.... it depends on the kind.

Washington Apples - yes, I found some of them to be mushy.

Fuji Apples are my favorite. (well, next to the computer ones!)

On the like side we have dates, bananas, lychees and Worcester Permain apples.

Dislikes are pomegranates and peaches (can't abide the furry skin).

  • Hate apples. If I absolutely have no other choice, then it must be a firm, juicy, sour, Granny Smith.
  • Hate hate hate hate hate hate bananas!
  • And papaya.
  • Don't like kiwi (They make my tongue feel "furry." Not the skin, the flesh itself)

Love:
  • Pomelos/ Grapefruit (the big kind, which, I think, are pomelos :p)
  • Nectarines
  • BERRIES! Raspberries, blackberries, blueberries (not so much strawberries)
  • Pineapple
  • Tangerines
  • Oranges in general
  • Melons
  • Cherries (do these count as "berries?")

And I used to eat lemons plain. Cut 'em in half and spoon 'em out.

i love lemons, but not plain. ;) when i'm at a restaurant, i order water to drink, then i have the server bring two bowls of lemon wedges...one bowl for each glass of water i'll have. :D it's my "ghetto lemonade", as my husband calls it.

Loinfruit. Mmm...

ew!...but kinda hot.

BTW, I hav an "adverse reaction" to pineapple. Apparently, you can't be allergic to pineapple but it causes my lips to be numb for 24 hours and my throat to swell up. That's only with the fresh stuff. But I can't die, so I'll keep on eating.

But my favorites are: a good strawberry, good raspberries, pineapple, non-red-delicious apples, and seedless grapes.

I haven't tried too many exotic fruits. Anyone know what that south american fruit is that kinda smells like pennies/batteries? It's way gross.

I love all fruits that don't require peeling (or don't require me peeling). ;)

I like:
- Apples
- Oranges
- Pineapples (definitely, pineapples ;))
- Pears
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
.
.
.

I don't like:
- Vistas (Hey, is that a fruit) :p

Ha ha, you and I are total opposites. I love all tropical fruits (including oranges) and I don't like strawberries.

Absolute favorites are limes, blueberries and cranberries
