Hi guys,

Have any of you used Fruity Loops through virtualized windows?

I have it on my bootcamp and what to know if it runs as smooth in virtual mode, as i find rebooting into windows quite tedious.

Also in general which one is better Parallels or VMware?

Parallels and Fusion both have free trials
Your best bet is to download both and try them yourself

Both do the same job
Both have advantages and disadvantages
Both have their fans and their detractors
Normally it just comes down to personal preferences

Some will say Parallels is slightly faster but Fusion is slightly more stable

I believe most on the board use Fusion, but I have no empirical data to support that

Parallels Is Worth It

Hello Everyone,

I am a user of Parallels Desktop and I am happy with this software. MacTech and the Wall Street Journal did reviews and benchmark tests of both Parallels and VMWare and I think that these actual tests show that Parallels is quite a strong and good product. Take a look at these articles:

Cheers.

So did you ever choose between the two? I have the same issue as you! I really want to get back on my music game, but I'm afraid of slowing my macpro down tremendously etc etc.
