iPhone Frustrated: No service, invalid sim: Help

Hello,

I’m tired and frustrated as I tried all the option to unlock my phone and completely clueless, what’s going wrong though I'm new to this...

Also I don't have the orginal carrier SIM CARD but I've the SIM CARD 4 years from the same carrier though expire one..

Current Status:
Invalid, No Service and Carrier always display as NOT Available.

IPHONE INFO:
IPHONE: 3GS
IOS: 5.1.1
MODEL: MC131J
SERIEAL NUMBER: 839508W...
Modem Firmware: ORIGINAL:05.16.05 then IPAD BASE BAND: 06.15.0 and current After DOWNGRADE: 5.13.04

Here are the steps I took:
1. JAILBROKE: IPAD BASEBAND
a. Ultra Sno0w etc to Unlock: But no Luck
b. Installed Raccoon to fix the tethered
2. DOWNGRADE to 5.13.04
a. Result Nothing: Try All option with ULTRASN0W etc..

Now: NO SERVICE nothing..

Installed SAM: I could only see the following information:
Activation State: Wildcard Activated
IMEI,IMSI and ICCID: Number is there

Please tell me what should I do? What are the possibility for me to get this phone unlock?

Please help..
Provide me the steps to fix it...it would be great help..

When you install Ultrasn0w, do not hit the respring but, instead turn the phone off, then back on.
A reboot or two might also be necessary before US kicks in.

As cheap as IMEI unlocks are, perhaps you should just pursue a grey market vender.
 
I installed the UltraSn0W and reboot it couple of times and also install UltraSnoW fixer for 5.1.1 but no luck.

Still in About Carrier display as "NOT AVAILABLE" though I have same carrier SIM but of 4 years old expired one.

Actually, in Japan there seems to be no vendor provide IMEI UNLOCK so only luck is to try out with ULTRASN0W..

Any other tip?
 
I tried couple of times now, I've "No Service" and in Carrier : "NOT AVAILABLE"

What are the chances??
 
I was searching the net with this symptoms then based on those information:

I uninstalled UltraSn0w and fixer

then install Mobile Sabstrate and UltraSn0W and Fixer

Well, then unable to boot Cydia so I did the therrred boot with RedSnow and when inserted the SIM CARD it went searching and asked me for Carrier Update but after keep on searching it went "No Service"

But now any SIM CARD I insert Carrier in About always get update but end up "NO SERVICE"..

how close I'm to unlock this device?

Another Problem..

Well, Somehow my Iphone can recognize the SIM card and giving me full signal and can receive a SMS on raoming but somehow I cannot call to anyone ..
Call never get completed..the minute I press call it get disconnected..

Any reason why?
 
Well..good news is that I can receive SMS and make a call but unable to send SMS or make a call.


I'm using other country prepaid card with overseas local carrier.

If I put another SIM of other local provider that does not work in the same IPHONE.
 
Restore it (No_BB IPSW) choose set up as new, jailbreak with Absinthe 2.0.4, install Ultrasn0w as I instructed. Do not restore to any backup.

Ultrasn0w fixer will do nothing for you, it is an outdated unofficial hack.
