Frustrating MacBook Bluetooth Issue (Please Help!)

I hope is the right place to post this;

Everytime I want to send something to my moms computer OR my brothers macbook, I cant.. They can send me files with no hassle! When it's the opposite for me.. :/

I have the same issue when trying to send stuff from my MacBook to my phone. I can very easily send pictures to my computer from the phone, but I get the same error you do when I try to transfer in the other direction.😕
