I have another thread about some problems I'm having:
https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=1130446#post1130446

I booted with Command-S so that I could do fsck. I have an iMac G5 with built in bluetooth and wireless keyboard. It will not let me type anything when in this mode. So I cannot type fsck or reboot. Is there anything I can do to get it to recognize my wireless keyboard? If not, can I push the power button on the back to shut it down (without typing reboot) and not cause any problems?
Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge you cannot do any typing outside of the OS environment with the BT items. I never understood what apple meant when they said they had sorted it so you could use the BT accessories through out. You can start up using 'c' 'cmd+s' etc but that is where it ends you still need USB items. Which is why I don't see the point of getting the BT items unless you have a USB keyboard and mouse tucked away somewhere. Apple really need to make this clear.
