I'm looking for a good ftp client, Fetch is pretty good, but I think theres better FTP programs out there. I was using FTP explorer (integrates into the file explorer), so it was seemless with browsing files. Anyone have a recommendation?:apple:

Search, it's been talked about a ton. Cyberduck = probably the best free one, but not nearly as good as Transmit ($30, I think).

Transmit is probably the best for Mac. There are others though, like Cyberduck or YummyFTP.

My general rule: if you're not transferring huge files or not living in your FTP client, Cyberduck will probably do just fine. If you're spending a lot of time in your FTP client or you need something better suited to large transfers, go with Transmit.

It's not out yet, but Flow also looks quite promising.

i used to use cyberduck, but now use filezilla, there is a OSX version available on its homepage...

works perfectly every time

I am using Cyberduck because it is free and it fits all my needs.

But to mention another one, Captain FTP. It is shareware and costs 25 USD. Today it is on sale at http://www.maczot.com/ for 18.75 USD.

there is an extension for firefox called fireftp. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/684
