I've seen a number of blog mention this Windows app, which basically allows you to create what I think of as "droplets" (is that a real term?) which upload any file you drop on them to a pre-configured server.

I'm drooling.

Does anyone know of a Tiger-friendly app that does the same thing? I saw a widget that's along the same line, but you have to have the full FTP client by the developer installed, and I'm not going to pay for a second full FTP app when I'm perfectly happy with the one I have. These droplets, though... ;)

In the absence of an already-existing app, do you think this could be pulled together with Automator, using the command-line ftp?

Any thoughts on the matter appreciated.

I don't know what widget you are talking about but the Transmit Widget will give you a droplet without having to have the App installed.

[Edit] Hmm....Seems im wrong.....you DO have to have Transmitt installed. Sorry.

You need the app for the Widget to work - it'll install just fine, but it won't work without the app.
