I just recently purchased a mac and I am very new to this. I am having issues try to connect to an ftp server where my website is located. On my Windows machine I used Firefox with FireFTP and it worked fine, however using the same set up on my MacBook it won't connect.

I have also used Safari and typed ftp://username.password@domain.com to try and work it through that way but it keeps giving me an unexpected error and won't connect. How do I fix this????

Thanks for the help!

With windows I would just use Firefox and ftp into my web page; then a GUI box would pop and I would type in my username and password and I'm in. I assume you can do this also with Safari, but i haven't tried it.
