What would be the proper step-by-step instruction to setup an ftp server using the built-in feature in OSX 10.5.6, so the user is locked into a specific folder only, and obviously to make it as secure as possible ? Also what if you want to have multiple users, and/or different ports (instead of default 21) ? Thank in advance.

at the terminal type "man ftpd". It mentions a file called ftpchroot, which I think may give you the functionality you want.
