iPod touch FTP to 2nd gen itouch NON jailbroken

Is it possible to ftp into a 2nd generation itouch without jailbreaking it? I used summerboard on my 1st gen itouch and i really like one of the themes. I want to use the background and icons on my new itouch, but i don't want to jailbreak it.
Any help would be nice.

I doubt that's going to happen. Apple want you to do everything via iTunes. There's a couple of apps that'll let you send files to the iPod via wifi, but that's to a specific location on the device. You can bet that Apple are vetting all apps very carefully for anything that'll modify the iPods UI or colour-scheme.
