Which one should I buy ? why ?
Fujifilm F31fd or S6000fd/S6500fd. They seem to use the same sensor.
F31fd is compact and supposedly takes a bit better pictures.
The S6000fd/S6500fd has better zoom range (particularly at the wide end).
You could also go for the Fujifilm F30 which is the predecessor to the F31fd. Basically, the same minus face detection.
If this is still too expensive you could go for the Fujifim F20, which is basically the same as the F30, but only automatic and without ISO 3200 (which should be used only as a last resort anyway).
But what I saw in NZ for the F30 and F20 have worse prices.
You're lucky that these cameras can still be found in NZ.
