Ive been all over the net looking for a solution. I am afraid there might not be one. or maybe my code is somehow broken...
got a column on the left, footer on the bottom.
footer is stuck to bottom of browser window, shrink, it follows.
i want the column to stretch vertically all the way down to the footer, regardless of length of content. which would be a nice vertical band of color.
ive tried min-heights, heights, and all inbetweens at 100%, and nothing works.
the closest I have gotten is the container div of the column and the html, body set to height 100%, only it makes the column go much further than the footer!?
