My IDisc is almost full, and rather than buy more space I would like to delete the files backed up and start again with a fresh full backup. I can't seem to get this to happen. Has anyine encountered this issue before?

Don't try to delete the Backup folder in your iDisk, because you won't be able to. Instead, try to delete the stuff inside it.
 
Thanks for the tip. I was trying to do it in Firefox. Much easier using the Finder.
