Ok. I am very new to Mac. I have a MacBook Pro. My question is:
How do you view pages in full screen? I open a document or a web page and it only allows it to be in the center of the viewer? Is there a setting I can change ?
I am sure this is a trivial question compared to some but I have changed changing the resolution and everything. It helps things get bigger but still keeps everything in the center of the page.
Please help!!!

Click the green button in the top lasft corner and it will go as big as you need it. Or you can just click and drag at the bottom on the screen.

Generally, you'll have to change the window size using the little drag-tab in the lower right side of every window. Most (all?) programs will remember your preference for window size after you change it, and will open new ones the same size.
