Hello friends,
My mom's girlfriend gave her an Apple TV streamer.
I did a full reset to the Streamer and logged in using my Apple ID and it's the only user that appears to me, but what do I do when I try to update the app it asks me to enter a password to an email address that is not mine. Does anyone know a way to do a full reset of this account?

How about just delete the offending app and then go to the App Store and download it again which will then be under your AppleID.
This of course will all depend on which model of AppleTV you are referring to?

I would probably do a full reset in this case. I usually suggest not doing that because it wipes everything, but in this case you want to wipe as much of the former owner's information and settings as possible.

First identify which Apple TV streaming box it is. For example, Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, Apple TV 3rd generation, and so forth. You can look for the serial number on the device, then do an internet search on it, that should show you the model. Next do an internet search to find the official Apple instructions on doing a full reset of the device. For example, search "reset model name".

Next, make sure your mom has an AppleID account, or set one up if needed. Do an internet search for the instructions for setting up the device, just in case you need them. Then set up the device using her AppleID. That will tie all apps she installs to her AppleID, as well as allow her to purchase content and view it on any compatible Apple device.
