What up with these full screen BS Harris/waltz political ads taking over the entire website? Can even close or scroll past them unless I refresh the site.

Already get enough political **** outside of this site, not a good look for MR.

Is there any place where we might discuss why this troublesome ad is so difficult to remove? Seems reasonable that we should be able to discuss a S&FF issue in the S&FF section even if the topic brushes on PRSI. Perhaps S&FF should be a "political news forum"?

If it's really true that the ads "take over the entire website" and you "can't even close or scroll past them unless you refresh the site" then it seems like we could discuss that without touching on anything PRSI. That kind of ad should be unacceptable, regardless of the content.

Agreed.

Basically a week has passed since this was first brought up and one would think a simple mistake was made and the ad network should be able to fix it easily... if they wanted to do so.

As a contributor I thankfully don't see the ads but was attempting to discuss the issue at hand since it was brought up multiple times by multiple other members. I then made a suggestion to allow further discussion, which I am guessing y'all were not in favor of.

Your site, your rules, it was just a suggestion.
