Full Screen Mail -> Left Most Space

In Snow Leopard I always used to have mail in the left most space. However, if i put mail into full screen mode it always moves right one space, is there anyway to have it full screen in the leftmost space?

Don't put it in full screen.

No unfortunately you cant with full screen apps

And I know I could not put it in full screen, but it seems like an oversight that you can put them anywhere except the first space.

Yeah that doesn't make sense, I think that it is indeed an oversight and they just didn't think about that. File a bug report and they might realize the problem.
