Hi guys,

Is it possible to work in full screen mode in macbook? I mean using allocating the full screen for a program (removing bar at the top).

I use Swiss-Model a lot to work on proteins and it would be of great help.

hide the dock and increase the size of the window to take up the whole screen. the menu bar is only 20 pixels high.

I do have my dock hidden. And yes menu bar is only 20 pixels but the the fact that the program (Swiss PDB viewer) has its own menu bar doubles it....

I guess there is no option to hide menu bar in macbook, or is there?

It is up to the application to hide the menu bar if it decides this is required. Normally only full-screen (non-windowed) apps do this. There is no global option to do this.
