As of January, they've sold 25 million Apple TVs. If you were to take all the Apple TVs sold, you could stack them up to the International Space Station, and then still have more than a 100 mile high stack of them.
I think most companies DREAM of having a "failure" like that.
But to the point, Apple said, before the watch was even released, that they aren't going to reveal sales numbers. Because of this, it only makes sense that Tim Cook didn't walk on stage and announce numbers. But conservative estimates are saying that they've sold more watches than anyone else in the game, by a long shot. I've read that they've sold more watches than the rest of the smart watch industry put together.
But now he goes too far the other way and comes across as a pushy arrogant pr***. Without even knowing Jeff Williams, you kinda feel bad for the guy the way Walt is bullying him, and trying to push him around. Jeff comes off as decent and knowledgeable, and not in the least intimidated by Walt. Good for him.

Not logical at all. That's probably just what you want, but maybe you should prepare to be disappointed.
It's an interesting product. But I'm waiting for version 2 which I suppose puts it at least 12 months away.
I'm with you. I just can't abide Walt Mossberg. I'm struggling to figure out why he's always portrayed as THE technology go-to guy. John Gruber's talk with Phil Schiller was soooo much better and more informative.
Yes it is a fiasco. Don't use "we" like you're speaking for the rest of us. I do mind waiting and it's not just one month. It was announced early March, it's now mid-June (3 months later) and I still can't walk into an Apple Store and buy one as they still don't have any stock.

Love that response. I can just see members of the audience pulling out their calculator apps to figure out what that means.
It means he's a dick because he can't accurately predict demand and manufacture the right number to supply that demand. This under-supply must be costing Apple billions in lost sales.
