Fully nude. Am I blushing (RED)?

Well since the launch of the iPhone 7 plus, I've had the Matte Black, Jet Black, and now the (Product) RED.

I really love the look of the iPhone without a case, and the red phone is just plain sexy. I've been wanting to go naked, but the black models are just too slippery. Even the Jet Black for me. The red phone, however, is much more grippy to me. I'm gonna let it all hang out and go nude!! Wish me luck. I've cracked 2 screens already. Of course, I will have AppleCare.

Anyone else with the RED find that it has much more grip?

I wonder what would make the texture more grip like? I believe it's the same 7000 Series aluminum used on the other models as well.

Simple. The black color fully absorbs light, creating a slick surface. The red model refects some light, creating extra molecules of holding power.

It's not me saying this....it's science.
Good answer!. I have to admit, I will steal this answer for future "Grippy" related threads. The whole molecule part makes it sound like Bill Nye The Science Guyish. I can appreciate how much time you invested thought into this.

This thread (given it's title) is a complete let down... :D

Does this mean red cars are slower than black cars, or are black cars slowed down because the absorption of light makes them heavier?

Of course not, silly. It's got nothing to do with weight.....it has to do with friction. Light is super-slippery....go ahead, TRY to hold onto light as it passes by.

Can't do it, can you....

Black holds onto all the super-slippery light, while red reflects some back making the surface not so slippery.

In the middle of several books.

I think it is merely psychosomatic.

Well maybe. I'm halfway through my first naked day. I've tried with my black phones, but end up putting a case on it after a couple hours because I just feel like I'm gonna drop it all the time. So far, so good. I like the way it feels in my hand and I don't feel like I'm holding a bar of soap.

So you're saying that this proves light is a wave and not a particle! Cause black holds onto light and if light had mass it would get heavier. WOW science!

Where were you when that witch turned me into a newt?

Then go ahead and buy a shiny polished, plastic white case - it is sticky as dry lube!

You will be more than "blushing red" when you drop your scarlet love.

I've had to use my new Red phone nude till my clear case gets here. but I will say it's a bit scary carrying it this way as it is still slick.
