I want to upgrade my very old MacBook Pros Hard drive, Ram and CPU. The current motherboard is fitted for DDR2 and I don’t know if i am able to upgrade to DDR5. Is there somebody out there that has figured out how to upgrade the motherboard to work with DDR5 or replace the ports?? I don’t really have computer experience and I know that this could become a large undertaking but if i could have an upgradeable laptop in the old school laptop shell that would be the coolest thing ever.

I have no knowledge of computers but I am definitely open to learning more.

Like the above poster said, you're better off getting a new computer. The M series blows Intel out of the water. An M2 MacBook Air with 16 gigs of ram put my fully maxed out 2019 16 inch MBA Intel i9 with 64 gigs of ram to utter shame.

Is there any possibility to replace the old intel cpu socket with a more modern socket?

I think you would be much better off just replacing the computer with a new M-series MacBook Pro
I agree. ☝🏼
Especially since it may still be a high cost to replace tons of parts.

It won’t cut it to be boot camp or dual boot Linux imo
