Function keys

Hi!

Noticed that a few minutes ago my MBP function keys (Penryn) do no act as they should...

Screen brightness keys do nothing, same about sound keys. F12 brings on the dashboard!!!!

Anyone can help me?

System Preferences / Keyboard & Mouse / Keyboard / Use all F1... as standard function keys.

Must have got reset.

The function keys can be set to operate either software or hardware features by default, with the other features accessed using "fn" plus the desired function key. If the default behavior has changed for you for some reason, head to System Preferences --> Keyboard & Mouse --> Keyboard to access the option to set the default behavior.
