That's actually a little cheaper than getting it some other places (amazon.com lists it at $5,500 for just the body, but other places list it at $4,500). The Canon EOS-1D Mark III is one smokin' camera IMO. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had an extra $5,000 laying around.I'm pretty sure thats a ton for a 10 megapixle camera, but I'm assuming there's more, although I could be wrong.
While a 1Ds MkIII is possible (eventually)... there's no way Canon would have a shutter release on both sides of the camera, nor on both sides of the battery gripI know nothing about pro camera gear, but something that did catch my eye was that it says Ds on the right hand side, as can be seen clearly in the enlarged image:
Everywhere i look i only find Ds mark ll and D mark lll ..... is there even the slightest possibility this is a different model?
As i say, i know nothing about pro camera's, especially Canon, but it was just something i noticed.
