I can see me doing that when I get mine as I had to upgrade my mini 2 to a 3 as I kept trying to unlock it with my fingerprint after upgrading to the 5s. Lol

I totally have expected my old iPad's to unlock with my fingerprint as well. And I'm sure I've tried tapping my MBP screen once or twice in the past. :p

Now when I expect my phone screen to just turn on I'll have myself a good laugh!

I have that problem - I have an iPad Air 2 at home but the one they "gave" me at work is an Air 1, and I am ALWAYS pushing my thumb or finger onto the button with no effect!
So no doubt I will also do the phone/watch mixup thing too.

You aren't alone at all! I keep on doing this now.

Maybe in the near future, huh? :D

iPhone 7… wouldn't be surprised to see 'face recognition' on it to where you could do just what I'm saying.

Funny how this technology impacts our lives.
