If you need flash, or flash is super important to you, you'll have to look at a different tablet. Apple isn't going to support flash in the iOS. The argument between Adobe and Apple has moved beyond logic (kind of like this thread) and is now about something deeper.
On one hand, I would like Apple to get over themselves and just put flash on the iOS. People want to play their facebook games in Safari on the iPad and they are not going to be happy until they can.
On the other hand, flash is a resource hog. The device would be slower and the battery life would be reduced if flash was used. You can't take something that uses such a high percentage of the processor and expect any different.
The good news for you, is that every manufacture on the face of the planet is making tablet devices now. Three years ago, how many tablets were available? A handful.
So these other manufactures need something to stand apart from the market leader. For the most part, flash is what they are using to stand apart.
