Hi,
Considering a new iMac with possibly 1TB fusion. Does it support a dual boot with Windows 7 ?

When you create the second partition with boot camp, how does the SSD portion of fusion come into play?

Would the SSD only be used when booting Mac OS ? So windows would only use the hard drive?

Anyone know about this ?

Comments ?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Yes, that's right -- a BootCamp windows installation will only use the HDD.

Interestingly, a virtual Windows machine would make use of the SSD in the Fusion drive. Here I'm referring to running windows in VMWare Fusion, Parallels, or VirtualBox (free!).

Probably a good idea for running Windows apps, but not so good for gaming.
