    Hey Guys,

I'm toying around the idea if the 128SSD can be replaced with a say... 512GB SSD.

Does anyone have any actual pictures of the fusion drive?

Is it 1 physical HDD with a SSD component?

If it's a single drive, is it a single sata port or does it have 2 sata ports?

    or

    Is it 2 physical drives?

Any help is much appreciated :)

    Cheers,
    Raima

The fusion drive consists of two individual drives, a standard 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drive, and a blade SSD similar to mSATA drives, but not physically compatible with mSATA. OWC has 480GB blade SSDs for Macs.
