Hey guys, I ordered a BTO 27" with an i7, GTX 680, it ended up costing me $2439, i was going to get the fusion drive, but I couldn't justify paying an extra $275 just for fusion,I will be gaming, and doing some video editing via premiere, after affects and Final Cut Pro, do you think it would make much if a difference if I were to get it, or I wouldn't see much difference ?

Thanks in advance :)

It's a very simple process to cancel your order. I did unfortunately (But I will reorder in a couple of weeks to time it's delivery better). It takes about 10 seconds via the email you got from Apple re your order.

I think you will regret not getting the fusion and although you say you are a bit skint, it seems you can afford the fusion if you really want it.

Do you work in Final Cut pro?

I mean I edit professionally daily......

You think this 12 core mac Pro I use at work uses all of the cores...... How about that Mac mini I bought a couple of weeks ago and ran tests along side my 2011 imac with i5...... i7 with 5400 rpm drive offered NO ADVANTAGE.......

Make sure you know what you're talking about before you "assume" what you have no idea on. Hard drive is the MOST important thing for your newest system.

An ssd drive with an i5 will smoke an i7 with a stock hard drive.
Yes, I work with final cut pro daily. You obviously have no grasp of the obvious. Bye bye.
