I am thinking of getting Fusion to run Access and my hubby's Tripmaker. The other thing I have run into is the software for US Savings Bonds. They only have it for Windows. I cannot imagine why. You download the program and type all your bonds into it and then, whenever you want an update on your bonds current price, you click a link and it accesses the internet and downloads current info directly into the program.

Would I need to run Win Explorer to download and update? Can I download the program in Safari, set it up in Windows, and click on the link and have it use my internet connection without actually opening Explorer?

You can definitely download Windows files using Safari and move them to a shared folder that Fusion can see. From there you can install them in Fusion/Windows and run them directly. If the applications are not web-based you shouldn't need to run IE.
