Fusionwerkz Raw - latest info

After looking at the fusionwerkz raw many times on their website, I sent them an email asking a few questions. To my surprise, I received a reply within minutes each time I sent one. Here's what I asked;

I asked about the inside of the case, and any lining it may have to protect the glass. The response was " the inside of the case will be lined with a felt / flocking liner to protect the phone.
I asked about how much the case would cover of the actual front of the Iphone. The reply was that it would cover about 3mm of the front phone edge, but that it would not cover any of the visible screen. I asked about the timeframe to actual shipping, and the response was that the cases are being sent to anodizer this week for finish testing, and that realistically it would be a couple weeks until sales order could actually ship.

It sure is nice to actually get a quick response from a live person these days. I cant say that about some of the other aluminum case sellers out there.

I like the Fusion Raw because to me it looks original, and doesn't look like a variation of the Vapor case.

Anyone else out there really like the looks of this original case?.:confused:
 
IMHO it is better looking than the Vapor

Between all the aluminum cases....the Raw is looking like my #1 choice
 
I don't know about this design. Its so function over form, where as the Vapor is form over function.

Frankly Apple has really made it tough to design a case that looks great and still allows the phone to function as it should.

All that aside, the pictures just don't do it for me. Maybe its the white phone in an Aluminum case, just doesn't go...
 
I think this case looks awesome! But looking at the pictures again, it looks like it adds a LOT of bulk onto the phone, making it much more taller and wider.

My guess is that it's the same dimensions as the apple bumper.

Got turned off the moment I realized it has a logo cut out in the back. Big no no for me.

That hole will not be in the final design, per Fusionwerkz

I did not lit it either. Reminds me of a pumpkin cutout for haloween. Took me a minute or so to realize it was a circular hole showing apple logo..

That would be awesome!! Seems like too much trouble for the company to bother with though.
 
lOOks like the 1st view of the Fusion RAW with the Open Back, has been posted @ Fusionwerkz site. Very nice Fusionwerkz :D.

Wow looks incredible! I wonder how it will look with the full back without a cutout for the apple logo.
 
I think the case is awesome and unique. Nothing else looks like it on the market. I am getting one when he lets us order them Friday or Saturday. I confirmed with him today that I was on the list and he said I was in the first pre-order group so I should have it next week he said.
