they tweeted that the launch date would be pushed back a few days because of issues in production or something like that.
the website now says the pre orders are fully allocated. I registered on the first day and received no email.
Has anyone here actually been able to order at the pre order price? I smell a rat here!

This email provides further details on the ordering process for the FUSION - RAW.
The RAW will be released this coming Week, (Exact date TBD)
Order Emails will be sent in the order they were registered, based on the number of Stock received
A website link will be sent in the order email to directly link/purchase the RAW case
Pre Order participants will have 24 Hours to make a purchase
Cases will be sold by the piece, each case is made of TWO pieces, (you must order a minimum of TWO pieces (one HEX and one Non HEX side).
No more than TWO cases (or FOUR Pieces) can be purchased using one pre registered email address
An order can be made up of:
one front and one Rear section
one front and two rear pieces or vice versa
one front and one Open and One Closed rear
Different color sections (Example: Black front, Aluminum Clear Rear)
A Maximum of FOUR total pieces can be ordered per registered email,
Colors available on Launch will be ROYAL BLUE, GUNMETAL, BLACK and CLEAR ALUMINUM, there are very limited supplies of the ROYAL BLUE AND GUNMETAL
PAYPAL is the only form of payment accepted, however you can checkout using your credit card WITHOUT creating a paypal account.
We will be shipping WORLDWIDE
US shipping is free for PRE ORDERS only, Worldwide shipping is calculated at checkout

In my humble opinion, yes, this one will be different. The sides are almost completely open and metal can not touch the antenna. The case is padded where it touches the glass.
The joining of the parts will not be as much a problem because they join at the sides and bad alignment will not be as obvious.
The depth of the connector ports isn't as much a problem because thickness for screws isn't as much an issue (screws are located at the corners, not along sides or at top and bottom).
The finish from all pictures seems uniformly brushed, no problem with matching parts viewed from the front.
So yes I believe all metal case issues will be improved or will not be an issue.

I think I'm addicted to cases. I don't really care for the look of this one, yet I got my slot in the pre-order queue and want to order one just to add to my collection of cases.
On the flip side you never know when a profit is to be made from ebay. (like the vapor)

My addiction to cases was resolved by buying a Samsung 55" 3D TV. I suddenly feel poor. So now I'm a metal case observer for the drama.
Really looking forward to this case. It's all speculation on my part but I think this design is smart. I don't know if I like the look as much as the Vapor but we will soon see. These guys get points with me just for not rushing a case to market.
Haha, yeah right, just another way to hype up the demand (if you fall for it you are a fool), how many people really care for another aluminum case after all the other case's debacles - I can't believe people on this board are still "addicted" to metal cases that COVERS the antenna (opened or closed).
I've read somewhere on the board where someone asked, "What needs more protection? What's easier to break? Glass or the Stainless Steel Band" I agree and asks: What is the point? Metal on metal? Aluminum is softer than steel, if you drop it i'll ding like no other or transfer the energy to the phone and shatter the glass. If you just want to stand out, then a sticker (those fugly printed ones you see everywhere) will do just as much a job, and without yelling out "I'm a wanker"

These guys sent out a mass mailer saying pre-orders would start last week.
Here we are a week later and another failed promise for what is sure to be another failed case.
i liked the look of the cases until i got my Vapor. I guess the thing that is most appealing to me about the vapor is the fact that it does not overlap the screen at all. I hate the cases that overlap because it makes it difficult to move icons from page to page sometimes.
Just my opinion.
And yes, the vapor degrades my signal, but after a week of using it, I only dropped 1 call, and it was in an area with extremely poor coverage anyway.
the vapor is really cool but im still waiting on a pre order code I may get this one or the new hybrid material atomic case.
The Karas case degrades GPS signal here, so it's a no go with the rest of the metal wrap cases. On top of that, it's bulky in a pocket. LTD Tools was better. Good luck with this FusionCopy ... here's hoping their customer service is good.
Got my email to order this afternoon. Despite saying I would wait for reviews, I just couldn't help myself and went ahead and placed the order. Hopefully will arrive by the end of the week. Went with the royal blue due to the pictures on the website, color looks amazing. Here's a copy of the email:
