Future 3G coverage...

I know there is a map that tells what area's have 3G.

But an at&t store near me has on its sign "3G coming soon"

Is there a map online somewhere that shows future 3g areas?

I am not sure where you see future coverage, but my brother lives in Iowa and said they will have 3G by end of this year (Nov).
 
There is not really an official resource for this. HowardForums.com has some information. Otherwise, you just have to ask. Some AT&T reps can see the information on where 3G is coming.
 
according the the at&t map, my town is now covered with 3G.

I wonder if I will get a better reception.
 
I live in Iowa and last year when i bought my iPhone i asked them about 3G.
The rep said that we, in Iowa, would have some coverage in early to mid summer, hasn't really happened. Hopefully your brother is right, we need those towers.

Perhaps your best place to look around is the HowardForums 3G Expansion forum

They have people post when they notice 3G testing in new area's -> signs that 3G is coming soon to certain area's.

Without knowing where you live it's tough to say.
