I think future AirPods will be installed at the Apple Store with a tool similar to this. You won’t even have to think about putting them in or charging them. 😂



Oh you mean like the ones coming out in October… Knowing Apple they will look exactly the same but have some new features like heart rate monitoring.

I was never specifically referring to the ones coming in October, it could be any future concepts

I do understand that you were not referring to the next iteration in autumn. But the rumors are that they will change in size.
So the next iteration in 3-5 years will be smaller again. And in 20 years there will be no difference with hearing aids.
The only question will be if you leave them visible or not, because nobody cares anymore if you have really bad hearing.

Very much so and I think the AirPod 3 Pros will be another leap forward in the 2s with higher volume that will cater for people with, maybe, moderate to severe hearing loss, even better sound quality and noise cancelling and maybe some form of AI. Apple have had three years or more and unlimited resources to throw at the update.
