Sorry, there's no room for a blood-glucose monitor because of the new wallpaper pattern scanner.
Did they say it would cost more? Not a feature worth paying more for.
If this is going to make you go on an anti-capitalism tangent, anything in the world would. But jeez. Now people will fight over "rare" wristbands to get cool watch faces.
That's enough capitalism for one day, thanks.
Build a Time Machine and give them the tech to make that possible in a watch like this. Before you point to a Garmin or something else that has longer battery, the Apple Watch does more.Skip the sensor, gimme 30 days battery
Oh thanks, I got that one wrong. Then it seems even more useless. Why would you want any other combination than white letters on a black background as a watch face? Maximum contrast will need the least power to make the time readable.Based on the article, it is the watch face that would change color, not the band. Potentially the color of your clothing or of the watch band could trigger the change in the watch face color. Nothing about changing band colors that I could see in the article.
If it’s related to color scan, you would just need to look for a picture in your phone and put your watch on top.But jeez. Now people will fight over "rare" wristbands to get cool watch faces.
That's enough capitalism for one day, thanks.
You're in the minority with this one.Why would you want any other combination than white letters on a black background as a watch face?

You have that choice already.Oh thanks, I got that one wrong. Then it seems even more useless. Why would you want any other combination than white letters on a black background as a watch face? Maximum contrast will need the least power to make the time readable.
"and arguably, your body is much more important than your car."
I mean what you're talking about isn't a light sensor, more so a trick with the magsafe system. But, yeah, that just proves even more how dumb this is, because embedding a tag of sorts in the bands that the watch can read will be more accurate and cheaper anyway. This isn't new. The iPhone already does this with the Apple leather cases. If you attach a red case, you get a red MagSafe logo appear. If you attach a green case you get a green MagSafe logo etc. Been happening for the last 2 years
I disagree with this argument. building those multicolor e-ink displays for the concept car took BMW years. Also, it looks terrible. Those panels can't bend, have to be huge and bulky, and are extremely expensive. The technology isn't there yet, although I agree the concept is very cool.If BMW has a car that can change its colour, it should not be too complicated to build a watch band that can do that. It will be bad for watch band sales though.
Just buy a stainless watch on eBay second-hand. I paid $250 for a stainless Series 7 with a matching Milanese.I just wish the aluminum watch matched the milanese loop. The loop is a lot shinier than the aluminum finish. Need to get stainless steel to match, which costs hundreds more.
What are you doing with your watch where you need 30 days of battery? Ignoring how bulky or impractically large the watch would need to be, I remind you fast charging makes a quick 15 minutes off the wrist lasts the watch the rest of the day.Skip the sensor, gimme 30 days battery
My body is a temple. By that I mean it's decaying in the middle of a (concrete) jungle.Arguably? I don’t think that’s arguable. I don’t care how nice Tim’s car is, if he had to choose I’m betting he would choose his body.
Black is the new black.Color-matching Apple Watch faces? At last, I can finally be extra stylish
I say, even though I mostly wear black and gray
Nope.. its a rumor site so I'm speculating like everyone else.Did they say it would cost more?
