Sounds like you need a MBA M1. Great specs, great battery life, perfect on the go work machine

I have one... also have a 12" MacBook (I own almost 1 of everything APPL makes)... it's fine, but there's a quite a noticeable different between it and the 11" iPad/MacBook... on "light working holidays" I end up taking both the iPad and the MBA M1... if the iPad could do more I could just take the iPad (not just development... many of the websites I use for client billing, task tracking, etc just don't work in Safari on iPadOS vs. macOS).

But if they do another MB then I could roll with that (but the iPad is a better Video Conf, video consumption, drawing machine)

Titanium is much more expensive than aluminum, even given supply constraints.

Perhaps Apple will seek to get a fixed supply of Titanium to mitigate fluctuating prices. OR it just gives Apple another reason to increase prices. 🤷‍♂️
