Future use of Leopard (not even SnowLeopard) with iCal+iPhone

Dear Everyone:

Due to the need to use software that only runs on Leopard (and not even Snow Leopard). I never installed Snow Leopard, and would like to put off installing Lion (as long as possible).

My iCal has recently begun not syncing wirelesslessly, and I can't tell whether that's due to the Mobile Me to iCloud transition, or some other issue.

Can anyone offer some quick answer in this regard.
